During the week long session cum workshop the young sisters profited much and were grateful to God and to the Provincial Team for giving them such a wonderful time.
An expert was called in to give the sisters an input session on 'First Aid' and 'Care of the Sick'.
Sister Marie Eugene gave them some tips on Public Speaking and arranged for an 'Extempore Speech Contest' on various current topics.
Sister Mena D'Silva took immense trouble to teach 'Good Manners', 'Social Etiquette' and Flower Arrangement to the young sisters
'A stitch in time saves nine' They learnt the basics in stitching, darning, sewing.
The Junior Sisters learnt the culinary art from Sisters Lily D'Souza and Arathi. Later on they tried their hands at preparing some delicious dishes for the community.
The Young Sisters and Junior Sisters were enriched and inspired by the seminar cum workshop on 'Faith and New Evangelization' by Rev. Fr. Rex, S.J. for 22nd to 24th June 2013.
